Verde - Greenwood: Authentic Mexican Flavors and Inviting Dining Experience in Greenwood, IN

Dinner was good. We both liked what we had for dinner. Of course the misses had to have a drink which ups the price but I guess she is worth it. Don't mean to sound like a tight wad.

We tried out Verde - Flavors of Mexico in the old Bar Louie location at Greenwood Park Mall. I ordered Alambres, which is a, "Hanging marvelous mix of flavors, perfect pairing between shrimp, steak, chicken and cheese over arugula goodness with rice and asparagus". The center skewer was literally hanging on just by the cheese! My wife ordered the Quesaburrias. Both meals were muy delicioso!

This building is near and dear to us because it was our 1st date years ago. So happy with Verde moving in! Decor is classy and classy but oddly relaxing. The drinks were great (we each got a margarita). We had trouble picking a meal due to all the amazing choices. Not just Mexi but so many food choices are available. The guacamole was awesome and complimented the free salsa perfectly. The meal was huge and delicious and the fried ice cream was HUGE!!! Enough for 3 people! Will definitely go again and again.

This was our first visit to this new restaurant in the Greenwood Park Mall. The interior was very inviting and exciting. We were sat at a high top next to the glass garage door that opens to the patio. It was a little chilly and dark in that specific spot, but the rest of the restaurant appeared well-lit. They have several options that your typical Mexican restaurants do not have. We ordered the fajitas and the chicken taco salad. Both were very good. There were a lot of big chunks of pepper in the salad, which were somewhat unpleasant. And the shrimp for the fajitas still had the tails on, so those needed to each be removed before putting the fajitas together. The biggest issue was how long it took to get our food. We were all done with our drinks/beers before our food came out. It was a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. We will go back for special occasions or every once in a while.

Roger brings out the atmosphere! He is amazing! My drink(s) were exquisite! I most certainly recommend Verde to anyone looking for good food and a unique experience to the Greenwood Area!

I have dined at Verde on several occasions, both indoors and outdoors. The food is solid and I like the variety on the menu. Definitely a step above most Mexican style restaurants. I have found the servers to be pleasant and helpful. The presentation on the food is excellent. Their chips are very good and the various salsas and dips are quite good. The indoor seating area is very nice. The patio looks over the mall parking lot so not the greatest view, but still a good place to sit, and the umbrellas are a big help. I do think it is a bit pricey even with the nicer menu. We will definitely continue to go there. It is very close to a 5 in my mind.

WOW!!!! Finally an amazing Mexican restaurant here in Greenwood. You'll find no Tex Mex here. Everything we ordered was fresh! The salsa, appetizers and entrees were bursting with flavor and presentation was excellent! Of course we had to try the gigantic molcajete and it didn't disappoint. Everything was very well done from our server to food and I hope they keep up the great work! It's a must try whether you're just wanting to pop in for a meal or date night they fit the bill. I also noticed a small private room available. Side note .... Very small rice and beans included with meal needs improved. It's silly to see it's so small it's served in a side cup you'd expect dressing in

My wife and I just stopped here after going to the nearby Best Buy. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was nice. The food was great. The service was friendly and great as well. I had a Chicken Burrito (picture). I can't remember the exact name on the menu of the burrito since I'm writing this week's after we went to the restaurant. My wife had the enchiladas. We both really enjoyed our dishes. We didn't try any drinks. But, we plan to go back here and will hopefully be able to test out the drink menu as well.
